Stiperstones Fell Race 2026

FRA registered fell race AS 6.8km 420m of climbing. Start 7.30pm
This is a race that includes up and down steep tracks and hill sides. It is exposed on the hill top. There may be loose rocks, narrow paths, and over hanging branches, and due to these conditions please be aware that there will a be risk of injury from tripping, slipping etc.
Registration at Snailbeach Village Hall, from 6pm. SY5 0NX. Parking - please NOT up in the Mine Heritage site. There will be a signed parking areas near the village hall. As well as safe street parking and in the village hall car park (for which a donation in their Box by the entrance is gratefully received)
Entries on the night at £10.00 accepted.
Junior races - - entries on the night. I think free this year
Compulsory kit to carry - wind top if windy or rainy.
This is as last year’s course- see Mercia web site for map. But we can no longer do the short cut into Perkins Beach.
Like a lot of Mercia races, some funds will go to local charities like the Shropshire Hospice and Shropshire Wildlife Trust. And for this race to Natural England (as the Stiperstones landowner). Sorry we are not able to do cancellations / refunds.
