Record (M) 1:54:17 – Finlay Wild (2012)
Record (F) 2:28:11 – Angela Mudge (2012)

Registration: will take place between 1000-1130 in Kinlochewe Village Hall.

Race start: The race start is at 1200. Please be at the start for 1150 for the pre-race briefing. Registration is approximately a mile  from the race start (Incheril, NH 03767 62479).

Parking: Kinlochewe itself has restricted car parking availability, so wherever possible please share transport to the race. In the village, there is car parking available next to the Kinlochewe community toilets and at the village hall where registration will take place. If you have a bike, there is the option to park outside the village and ride into registration. Parking spaces are available along the loch-side towards Gairloch or at the Beinn Eighe Visitor Centre. Please avoid parking at Incheril where the race starts. Access needs to kept clear for residents, estate workers, race marshals and other hill users.

Minimum mandatory kit: Full body waterproof cover, hat or buff, gloves, an appropriate map of the course, compass and whistle will be required, with no exceptions. As the race will be held on high and potentially exposed terrain, runners are asked to think carefully about clothing and kit on the day. The organisers may insist that runners also carry a survival bag and long sleeve base layer depending on weather conditions, so please have these extra pieces of kit available. Click here for SHR safety guide.

This is an AL category hill race that traverses rough, pathless mountain terrain. A key part of staying safe during the race is the ability to navigate accurately, while alone and often in poor visibility. In line with SHR rules, GPS devices must not be used as a navigational aid during the race. The race route will not be marked, and set checkpoints must be visited in order.

  • CP0 – Bridge - NH 01227 65635
  • CP1 – Sgurr Dubh - NH 01419 67456
