North Leeds Fell Runners

We are a running club dedicated to getting out on the hills and making the most of what Yorkshire and the North of England has to offer.

NLFR was established in 2014 by a group of runners from various different clubs in and around the North Leeds area who enjoy running and competing on the hills, moors and fells. We are affiliated to England Athletics in the discipline of hill and fell running.

Most of our runners are members of the Fell Running Association (FRA) and have a particular interest in fell races taking place across Yorkshire, Lancashire and the Lake District. We also take part in orienteering and mountain marathon events.

Our aim is to provide an informal and relaxed club structure for people living in and around the Leeds area who enjoy off road hill running. We have a membership network to give support for training and competing in races, as well as putting out teams in the relay events. We arrange regular reccies of longer race routes and share transport wherever possible.
