Thanks to support from the National Trust and their Summer of Play, this event is FREE to enter for ALL visitors to Lyme Park. It is suitable for all ages 2 to 82 and will be a super addition to your summer holiday visit to Lyme Park. Children, friends, parents & grandparents will all enjoy this outdoor treasure hunt with a map in beautiful surroundings. This is the first of 2 Lyme Park Mini Spunch events. The second is on Tuesday 18 August. Come to one or the other or both! Start window: 10am to 2pm. On the day Registration & help will be outside the ticket office in the main house. Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a family group. Only the lead adult in the group needs to put in an entry. Children under 16 must take part with an adult. Juniors aged 16 and above can run/walk alone with parental permission A waterproof map of the course is provided to each group Please enter early to help with planning for maps and event officials. LATE ENTRIES AND ON THE DAY ENTRIES ARE WELCOMED AND WE DO PRINT SPARE MAPS FOR SUCH LATE ENTRIES. IT IS STILL BEST TO USE THIS ON LINE ENTRY SYSTEM EVEN IF ENTERING ON THE DAY! Spunch! Is a treasure hunt with a difference - A fun, friendly & safe mini-adventure with a unique & colourful map. Suitable for all ages & abilities - no previous experience or specialist equipment required. Run or walk, buggy or toddle! There are up to 50 checkpoints for you to visit in the gardens and on Cage Hill. You should allow a minimum of 30 minutes to give it a go and up to 2 hours if you take a mid-Spunch picnic!
We are delighted to be staging this Mini Spunch in Lyme Park with kind support from the National Trust Lyme Park
Visit as many checkpoints as you wish in your chosen time (up to 2 hours), Satellite punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone. With 50 SpunchPoints to go for - how many will you bag? For a quick registration and start, download the MapRun App on your phone before the event.
For runners, walkers, friends & families. Go solo, pair or in a group of 3 or more. Lots of help available for newbies. Dogs are welcome too, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
On-site Registration opens at 10am and you can start anytime from 10am - 2pm.
Event entry does not include entry to Lyme Park.

The Area & Course
The course will include the spectacular gardens and parkland of Lyme Park. Most paths and tracks are accessible for pushchairs.
