LOC Spring Sprint - Ulverston N

Welcome to an urban sprint event hosted by Lakeland Orienteering Club. A Long and a Short course will be available at each event. Estimated winning times will be 14-18 minutes, perfect training for the JK Sprint race !

It is intended that competitors will only run ONE course per event. Children under 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult (as per British Orienteering guidelines).

We encourage running in pairs or groups – it is a good way to start orienteering. To do this, enter the event using one person’s name, and please add the names of everyone accompanying in the ‘Additional names and ages’ box. You can request extra maps, if required.

Everyone who attends must follow the ‘Participation Codes of Conduct’ which can be found at the British Orienteering website.

A quick reminder for newcomers: If you’re not currently a member of British Orienteering, you won’t be covered by the organisation’s public liability insurance for this event. You’re very welcome to take part, but please be aware that you do so at your own risk.
