Lakeland Paws: Grizedale half marathon

Our 5th Season!  This is our first half marathon route and we're delighted to be able to offer a longer event for those that have been asking us for one!  

This route is mainly based on the wide forest pathways, though it has sections of single track at various points too, however, you are welcome to run with two dogs.  All of our events have some elevation, but this will be one of our more runnable courses - but that does not mean it is flat!  It will use both sides of the forest and give you some stunning views over Coniston water.  There is a a shorter option of 12k too, which stays on the West side of the forest.

We are expecting this one to sell quickly. We've no cut-offs, and it will be a great option for those wanting to try their first half marathon with their favourite running partner. (Though you can run without a dog too!)

The event is chip timed and will be marked. GPX files are available to download too.
