We offer a pleasant introduction to orienteering, on a map of Feddanhill Woods and residential roads in the north of Fortrose. The event is open to all, particularly suited for beginners, as well as those with orienteering experience.
Feddanhill overlooks the Moray Firth to the north of the village of Fortrose. It has open mixed forest with a fine network of paths, and the event also extends into quiet residential streets adjacent to Feddon Hill road. There will be three courses of easy to moderate difficulty, and if you want more of a challenge, there will be a score course where you try to visit as many controls as you can within 30 minutes.
