The second day of the DEE October Weekend is on a complex open sand dune area with intricate contour detail. Please note the National Trust and Natural England have set an entry limit of 500 for this event. Entries may close earlier than the advertised date if the limit is reached and entry on the day will only be available if the limit is not reached and maps are available.

Parking and Event Centre are at Range High School, Stapleton Road, Formby L37 2YN. In order to help with parking arrangements, please indicate whether you will be bringing a car or campervan to the event.
Public transport: The event centre is about 1.5km from Formby Merseyrail station.
Beginners and newcomers welcome: the Yellow courses is suitable for you to try; the Orange is slightly trickier.
UKOL: You are free to run any course, but must enter the course shown for your age class to score league points - see age class to course mapping below.

Entries: Closing date is Sunday 4 October. Late online entry (£2 surcharge for seniors) possible until 18:00 on Saturday 10 October, subject to availability of maps. Entry on the day at late entry rate subject to availability of maps.
SI Card/SIAC hire: Normal SI card free to borrow. SIACs will be available to hire for £4.25 to cover both days.
Start times 10:30 to 13:30 with 2-minute intervals. Choose your start time when you enter (Black to Short Green courses). Light Green, Orange and Yellow course runners may start whenever they wish.
Whistles and full leg cover compulsory; cagoules may be compulsory in the event of bad weather.
Courses close at 15:30.
