The DR20 is an exciting introduction to the DalesRunner Series with testing ascents, spectacular ridge-running and fast technical descents.
NEW FOR 2026 - the DR20 route has been extended to 20km!
This is a fully marked route featuring rarely visited twists and turns, plus magnificent views of the northern Dales – a favourite with local runners.
The course is a mix of grassy trods, hard packed footpaths and a few technical sections with loose rocks as you head through mining hushes.
Highlights include:
- Generous cutoffs
- Fully stocked aid stations (including vegan and gluten free options)
- Finishers hot/cold drink and cakes
- Friendliest marshalls in Yorkshire
- GPX and map available
- Car parking
Start: 10am
Registration opens at 8.40am.
You must be 16+ to enter this event, any runner under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
