To get a waiting list entry just enter as normal. No payment is required at this stage as there is no guarantee of being offered a place. If the Event Organiser is able to offer you a place they will send you an email inviting you to enter. You will then be asked to come back to this site and make your payment to confirm your entry. We're back for the 10th edition - and the best yet to celebrate! This race on the edge of the Lake District has an enviable reputation as a friendly and uniquely local event. Around 8 miles/13 km of trail, fell and quiet roads. Well marked and marshalled so you can focus on enjoying the race and the scenery. A large part of our proceeds support the local school, community centre and other projects. As a thanks to to everyone entering, we're offering a special 10th edition item.

Hat/gloves and full body cover/waterproofs required (kit requirements confirmed at race registration 9.30 – 10.30 am). Off-road shoes recommended.
Minimum age 16 years on race day (with parental consent if under 18)
Great prizes for 1st, 2nd 3rd open men and women including cash and local food/drink. Prizes for veteran and U18s.
Start time 11.00 (last registration/ number collection 10.30) There will be a pre-race briefing around 20 minutes before start time at race HQ.
Limited free car parking close to the venue - follow signs within the village (please car-share/ use alternative transport if possible - full cars and alternative transport competitors will be rewarded!).
Final details will be sent out to registered entrants and available on our website www.allithwaiterunningclub.org.uk after entries close. No entries will be taken on the day. Please note that dogs are not allowed on the course or the Community Centre.
Toilets and refreshments available at race HQ – Allithwaite Community Centre.
Water will be available at the finish - please bring a cup. Other refreshments (hot drinks and sandwiches) may be bought at the finish (cash only)– funds go to Allithwaite Community Centre.
