The return of the infamous Matlock Top 10.
Matlock and the surrounding area is steeped with road biking hill climb history: Bank Road, Riber Road and Rowsley Bar to name just three of the well known ‘legendary’ ascents. The Matlock Top 10 celebrates the richness of the areas steep, 20% plus gradient hill climbs by creating a route that ascends 10 of them in 63 km/39.2 miles – the return of event sees a new revised route.
The Matlock Top 10 is a British Cycling registered sportive run under BC rules and regulations.

Expect
- A clearly signed arrowed route
- Staggered start windows (choose your start 10 min start window when entering)
- Pre-event video briefing
- Sportident Chip Timing – with instant post event ride time
- A feed station providing water, OTE energy drink, OTE gels & OTE flapjack
- A coloured route map – including emergency contact numbers
- Post event hot cuppa and cake
- Gold, silver and bronze awards based on your finishing time. Separate women award times
Younger riders info: You must be over 18 years of age on the day of the event to ride this event.
Younger riders may ride with written parental consent. A parent or guardian must accompany riders under the age of 18. NB a parental consent form will need to be completed and signed by the parent/guardian on the day of the event.
