This years event will be on Whittas Park. Fast runnable grassy parkland.
Starting from the north west gate. Grid reference NY203365. What three words "iron.sobs.regret"
First starts 11.00hrs, courses close 14.30hrs
This years charity is 'Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team'
Parking on the minor road leading to Torpenhow. This is directly north of the 'Keswick Reach' layby turning right after one kilometer onto the Torpenhow road. Parking on the side of the road leaving enough space for a milk tanker to get through.
This years rules of play:-
- Long course
60 minute score event
You must take the controls in descending order.
You do not have to start at No. 18 or finish at No. 1
To take all controls by the optimum route in descending order is 8.3k
- Short course
45 minute score event
Any control in any order
Taking all the controls by the optimum route is 4.1k
Social in Bothel Village Hall
There will be soup, cakes and hot drinks at Bothel Village Hall after the event. As usual, you will be welcome at Bothel to meet up with friends even if you do not run in the event.
