MayDay 10k is a 3 part event taking place at Abbey Fields in Kenilworth on Sunday May 1st (not the actual Mayday on the Monday). The registration and start is next to the car park at Bridge St. post code CV8 1BP.

This year the event consists of a 10k race, a schools race and a family fun run, times listed below. This year the event will be plastic free....

The 10km at 9:30am

The 10k event is a challenging 3 lap 10K over parkland and footpaths around Abbey Fields in Kenilworth, organised by Kenilworth Runners. The race can be run by individuals or by a 3 person relay team with each member running 1 lap. Each finisher will receive a medal and prizes will be awarded to 1st 2nd and 3rd male and female and 1st in each age category V45 and LV45.. Plus 1st relay team. Entrants must be at least 17 years old to run the 10k and at least 11 years old (year 7 and above) to run the 10k relay. Results from previous years races are now published on the results page

School Challenge at 11:45

At 11.45am a Schools Challenge race (1 mile) will be undertaken by years 5 and 6 from local schools.

Family Fun Run at 11:15

After the 10k race there will be a 1 mile family FUN RUN with medals to all finishers and prizes for the 1st 2nd and 3rd boy and girl under 15 years old. Suitable for all ages and standard of runners. Although well marshalled, young runners will require a responsible adult to run  with them (adult with child entry available).

Kenilworth Runners

Kenilworth Runners are a road and cross country club for all abilities. We have over 300 current members including a very active youth section and we run couch to 5k courses for starters.
