Assembly and Parking at and close by Hutton Roof Village Hall, LA6 2PG (Grid Ref. SD571784)
Parking charge - £2 per vehicle. Car parking is in a small field adjacent to the village hall and a large field opposite.

The Toilets are in the village hall. No muddy shoes or studs in the village hall. “Enquiries” will be in the hall or close by.

Start
There will be Mass starts for the 4 TWT courses between from 10.30am and 10.55am.

It is not a punching Start. Maps will be distributed to competitors before the order to start.

The Blue Course will not have a mass start. Competitors will start at 1min intervals between 10.30am and 11am.

The Start is 350 metres with 15m ascent from the Car Park and Village Hall.

The walk to the start passes the village War Memorial and villagers will be holding their Remembrance Day Service here at 11am. It is very important that our event causes no disturbance or distraction. Competitors must be at the Start area before the service commences.

Finish

Village Hall and Car Park are close to the Finish.

Refreshments and Prizegiving

Providing there are no new Covid regulations we hope to have Tea, Coffee, Soups and Cakes in the Village Hall at reasonable prices for competitors after they have finished. The Village Hall Committee is famous for its legendary cakes. All proceeds to the village hall. It should be a great opportunity meet and socialise after many months of inactivity and isolation and attend the Prizegiving.

 Traders

There are no traders attending the event.

Course Information

Terrain  - Beautiful well-contoured limestone woods and faster open areas with plenty of exposed rock. In the woods, paths are often covered with leaves and can be difficult to see. In the open, mapped paths are often rather indistinct. Limestone pavement can be very slow going and slippery if wet. The bracken will not have died down fully. Courses have been designed to avoid the densest areas of bracken.
