Transport is now available for those that want to leave their car at the finish and travel to the start
This will leave Malham Tarn at 5.00am and arrive at the start approximately 6.30am

This race follows the path of the River Aire from city centre Leeds to its source at Malham Tarn – the highest marl lake in the United Kingdom. As the urban landscapes subside, the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales opens up for runners as they pass through the historic market town of Skipton, the Victorian workers’ village of Saltaire and the picturesque village of Gargrave where it links with the Pennine Way and onto Malham .
100 Miles Option
Do you want to challenge your limits even further ?
There is the 100 mile option which starts at Malham Tarn and runs the route in reverse before joining the 50 mile runners at Leeds
for those running competitively the start is at 19.00 , for those that just want to complete the race , early starts are available on request
One small carrier sized drop bag will be allowed for the night Checkpoint at approximately 26 miles, this must only contain items that you will take with you , we have no facility to transport anything left to the finish , anything left will be disposed off responsibly

Car Park: CitiPark 7 Whitehall Road, Leeds, LS1 4BN. Please note this is a 24 hour pay car park, nearest public toilets are at Leeds Train station (500 yards)
Registration: From 06:00 in the Car Park
Kit list: You are expected to always carry the following during the race. Failure to do so may result in time penalties or disqualification, at the discretion of the Race Directors whose decision is final.
- Drinking Cup (we do not provide plastic cups at checkpoints)
- 500 ml water/energy drink
- Energy Bar/Nutrition
- Hat/Buff
- Head Torch
- Whistle
- Waterproof jacket with taped seams
- Emergency blanket
- Gloves
- Hard copy of the Map/Route description (see website for details)
- Mobile phone (with the race director’s numbers – 07950 008005 & 07702 021156 stored in it in case of emergencies). Your phone should be left switched on
This is the standard kit for all races, but please check the website for the specific race in case there are any special requirements due to the weather etc.
Trackers: All entrants will be supplied with a tracker and a weblink will be provided during the week prior to the race, where runners and friends and family can watch your progress during the race.
Start: From the Car Park
Checkpoints: Each checkpoint has water, coke, energy bars & crisps.
CP1: Apperley Bridge (8.5 miles) Open 08:00 Close 11:00
CP2: Hirst Wood (15 miles) Open 09:00 Close 12:00
CP3: Thwaites Brow (21.5 miles) Open 09:45 Close 13:00 (NO SUPPORT ALLOWED)
CP4: Kildwick (28 miles) Open 11:00 Close 14:30
CP5: Skipton (35 miles) Open 12:30 to 17:00 (DROP BAG)
CP6: Airton (41.5 miles) Open 13:30 to 19:00 (NO SUPPORT ALLOWED)
Finish: Malham Tarn Road (50 miles) Open 14:30 to 21:00 Every finisher receives a medal and an event T-Shirt.

Final Competitor instructions: These will be emailed to all competitors as shortly after entries close. Results will be available on the Facebook group within 24 hours and on the website within 48 hours.
