Kristian Morgan is a massively accomplished ultra-runner and all round super nice guy who likes to go out and give 100% of himself to any goals he sets himself,  In 2020 he set himself the goal of running the South West Coastal Path faster than it had previously been done AND HE DID he ran all 630 miles in 10 days 12 hours and 6mins, now holding the FKT (fastest known time) for that section of the UK.

Kristian has now set his next MASSIVE challenge of running all of the 2190 miles of the Appalachian Trail in the USA, as you can imagine a route that runs from Maine to Georgia through 14 states and takes the average hiker 6 months to walk isn’t flat, which is why it has the equivalent elevation gain of 16 Mt Everest climbs. Kristian is looking to break the current running FKT for this mammoth route of 41 days 7 hours!

We wouldn’t expect any of you awesome runners to run 2190 miles with 16 Everest’s but what would challenge you with is running 41 days with Kristian (virtually - you don’t have to go to The States) why not challenge yourself for a boost in the middle of the year starting at the end of June to run/walk EVERY day for 41 days as Kristian does his attempt? You can run/walk any distance each day with a minimum distance of 2 mile per day to qualify as a continuous streak. What a goal that would be for yourself and how much motivation would it give you to keep smashing through 2021! We will have various mini challenges through this and the usual awesome Odyssey Trophies to earn.

Our awesome event partners at Exhale Healthy Coffee are working side by side on this event with us for organising the event and supplying winner prizes, but also everyone that enters will get a sample of coffee with their finishers medal and they will be running their own competitions while the event is on.
