The 2021 Vitus Bikes Gravity Enduro Ireland Series aimed to see competitors battle it out over four rounds, however Covid19 had other plans. We have managed to rescue some racing this year by adapting our format to include a 3 stage route in both Djouce and Carrick.
This event doubles as the Cycling Ireland National Enduro Championships. Riders have 4 hours to tackle the 3 stages as many times as they like, in any order. Your fastest time on each stage combined counts as your overall time.
Senior / Elite men will depart last from the race village and must race each stage twice within the 5 hour time limit.
We are currently restricted to 250 competitors per day. The plan is to split the prize categories each day:
Please note: your category is how old you are at the end of the year (e.g. if you are 29 but turn 30 before 31st December 2021 you will be in Master)
Saturday
- Master Men (30-39)
- Veteran Men (40-49)
- Super Veteran Men (50+)
- E-bike
- Open* (*Riders racing on Sunday CANNOT ride this category on Saturday)
Sunday
- Youth (12-13)
- Under 17 Men (14-16)
- Under 21 Men (17-20)
- Senior Men (21-29)
- Elite (21+)
- Women (14+)
- Open* (*Riders racing Saturday are welcome to also enter the Open category on Sunday)
An open category will be added each day if there are places still available.
To be in the running for a team prize make sure you agree a team name with 2 of your mates and enter it in the 'Team Entry' section. The winner will be the team with the lowest combined times.

If you have your own SPORTident Active Timing Card (SIAC), enter the number during the entry process to receive a discount of €4.00 from the entry price of each round. You can purchase a SIAC from the SPORTident UK website here, or here to personalise the colour and number. Remember to bring it with you to the event!

If you are entering anyone else in this event ask them for their SiEntries ID (not the same as their SI-Card number). If they have not registered, please ask them to do so by visiting www.sientries.co.uk. Once you have their SiEntries ID, surname and postcode, you will be able to enter them without needing to type in any of their personal details.
Entering an under-18 rider
The parent/guardian needs to register and be logged in as themselves. When making the entry either select the under-18 from the Person to Enter drop-down box if you have previously made an entry for then, otherwise select 'Somebody already registered with SiEntires' or 'Somebody not registered with SiEntries' as applicable.
