The 16 mile race is now full with a long waiting list, so unfortunately any new entrants to the 16 mile are extremely unlikely to get a place. However there are still places available in the 7 mile race.
* If you are using a coronavirus voucher from our cancelled Swainby Sweep 2019 race you will be able to use it at that point
Circular 7 & 16-mile (approx.) trail races in the North York Moors National Park, from Swainby Village Hall, taking in stunning views of the Moors including Cod Beck & Oak Dale Reservoirs, Scarth Wood & Whorlton Moors, and Black Hambleton.
Race HQ: Swainby Village Hall, Swainby nr Northallerton, DL6 3EG
Start times: 9.30am for 16-mile, 10.35am for 7-mile race.

Varied terrain, including exposed & rugged uplands and muddy forest tracks. Predominantly on bridleways & footpaths, with small sections on minor road. Water stations, regular checkpoints, marked course, route description & downloadable GPS routes. Full course details and profile will be available on website.
Trophies awarded for male and female: 1st to 3rd overall and 1st in each age group.
A small donation to the North York Moors National Park and Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team is included in each runner’s entry fee.
In an effort to be more environmentally friendly this race will be cupless: please bring your own cup or bottle

You must bring a face mask and hand sanitiser.
Waves starts with fastest going off 1st. You will need to enter your estimated finish time when entering.
If you are unable to attend due to COVID we will issue a refund minus 10% to cover credit card processing fees.
This event has a TRA permit (2831) and the event will be held under UK Athletic rules
Refunds: 75% refund up until 12 weeks before the event. From 12 to 4 weeks, 50% refund. No refund within 4 weeks, although you can still transfer your number to another runner up until midnight Saturday 3rd April.
