12-hour ultra marathon on the Formartine & Buchan railway line between Maud station and Auchnagatt village hall, the total distance from Maud to Auchnagatt is estimated 4.3miles, competitors to run as much distance as they can within the 12 hours gaining a minimum distance of 26.3 to qualify for a medal and goodie bag, a few extra miles will be needed to complete and confirm that minimum distance lap, Mini laps will be open towards the end of the race.

Having Completed a marathon is preferred but not a requirement
You are advised to have a support crew

Age restrictions apply 20 years and older, rules under the Scottish Athletics

Prizes will be given for the main categories-
Male and Female Senior, Veteran, Vet 50, Vet 60 and Vet 70
Also, a bespoke overall male and female champion trophy which will be returned to the race organisers every year.
Covid-19 rescrictions are subjected and will be put into place withing the guidlines from the goverment and scottish athlectic and will be monitered leading up to the event
