This is the Official 2020 Anniversary Race

Timed Start from 8:30 until 10:10 a.m


Race Options COVID Precautions Apply. 

Full Race (Solo) ARC member £26:50, non member £28:50, plus booking fee. Race starts at the Foxes Hole Car Park on the Exmouth Sea Front and follows the South West Coast Path for close to 22 miles and finishes at the far end of the Esplanade at Seaton. The race is for individuals and relay teams, dogs are not permitted. Maps and course available on club website www.sidmouthrunningclub.co.uk. Race number and chip timer issued prior to race. Runners to ENSURE home address is updated if they move their abode.

Relay Option 2 to 4 runners, first runner starting at Exmouth, changeover recommended at water stations. ARC members £31:50 (team fee), non-ARC members £33:50, plus booking fee. See Full race for course details.

Runners welcome to run half of the distance, timing chip will not identify run time. Strava or similar to be used and organisers advised of time. Full race entry required.

ARC Club Member if your club is a member of ARC you will qualify for a £2 discount.

Check Points & Water Stations at Budleigh Salterton (Lyme Kiln Car Park) Sidmouth Sailing Club, Branscombe Mouth and finish at Seaton. There  will be drink stations at these points and a back marker runner will set off at 10:10. Full detailed maps available on club web site. Bottled water provided as a COVID precaution.

Pre-race Transport this is optional £8.50. Pre-race transport will be provided from the Finish at Seaton to the Start at Exmouth but only before the race – leaving Seaton at 8:30am arriving at Exmouth by 9.30am. The transport is available on condition that a place is booked in advance. Please book a place on the entry form if this is required so that we can cater for numbers. Face masks must be worn on coach following COVID requirements. 

No Entries on the day 

Hand Baggage  runners baggage or kit can be transported from the start to the finish if required. A label must be attatched to runners bag identifying runners race number. 

All Entries: on-line.  Race numbers and timing chips to be issued prior to the start via post.

No Postal entries 

Age Restriction No runners under the age of 18.

Time Limit: 6 hours. Cut-off times: Budleigh Salterton 11:15am, Sidmouth: 12:45pm, Branscombe 2:45pm. Marshals and refreshment station will close at these times.

Chip Timing Chips are to be attatched to runners running shoes (cable tie recommended), Relay runners will need to cut their timing chips off, attatch them to their relay team member and also change the running number. At the end of the race timing chips are to be removed and returned to organisers so that they can be used again.

Race Medal for all finishers.

Start As this is a timed race runners can start from 8:30 until 10:10 so runners are spaced apart and not grouped together, runners must distance themselves from other participants at a safe distance COVID precaution.

Further Information will be sent prior to the race via email to all entrants.

This is a tough race please only enter if you capable up running this distance and able to cope with the hilly terrain. Runners take full responsibility for their welfare, preparedness and medically self authorise themselves to run. If in doubt please check with your GP. Guidance for runners is available via www.runnersmedicalresource.com All runners to complete the medical details on the rear of the race number. Sorry Dogs are not permitted to accompany runners during the race.

This is an Association of Running Clubs (ARC) registered race. 
The South West Coastal Path are race partners.
