Info: This walking festival has been cancelled.
Unfortunately, we regret that we are unable to hold the Church Stretton Walking Festival this year, due to the current pandemic. Please note that we have contacted everyone who has booked so far.
Church Stretton Walking Festival is continuing to benefit from the injection of new energy and ideas provided by it's many volunteers.
Mainly made up of locals, the volunteers lead groups along favourite routes as well as lesser known ones and there's also a selection of themed walks, including the Map & Compass Course, the evening Stars in Your Skies Walk and the Landscape Photography Walk. The festival attracts visitors from across the country as well as from further afield including Europe. Due to the success of the Map & Compass courses there are two on the weekend before the festival on Sunday 14th June.
Our thriving market town is always welcoming to visitors who can enjoy the varied local independent businesses whilst in the town or choose from one of the many excellent quality B&Bs to extend their stay. Why not stay and enjoy the local hospitality!
Booking for all our walks is completed here on the SiEntries website, but to find out which of our lovely walks to go on, you need to visit the Walking Festival Website, where you'll find all the information you need about the walks, along with other useful stuff.
Please note that the Mynd Drover Challenge Walk, whilst being part of Church Stretton Walking Festival, has a separate SiEntries entry in the Event List, on 20th June.
We look forward to seeing you in June!
