Race Options

Full Race (Solo) ARC member £26:50 non member £28:50 includes booking fee race starts at the Foxes Hole Car Park on the Exmouth Sea Front and follows the South West Coast Path for close to 22 miles and finishes at the far end of the Esplanade at Seaton. The race is for individuals and relay teams, dogs are not permitted. Half Race (Solo) Sidmouth to Seaton ARC member £26:50 non member £28:50 includes booking fee starts Sidmouth Sailing Club 10:45. No late entry on the day possible. The course follows the same route as the full race from Sidmouth to Seaton see Full race for details. This half race is still a tough race approximately 12 miles with a significant ascent up and down the coastal path. Race number and chip timer issued at Sidmouth Sailing Club

Full Race (Relay) Two person team start at Exmouth changeover at Sidmouth Sailing Club ARC members £31:50 (2 persons team fee) non member £33:50 see Full race for course details. Race number and time chip to be exchanged at Sidmouth Sailing Club.

ARC if your club is a member of ARC you will qualify for a £2 discount

Check points & Water stations at Budleigh Salterton, Sidmouth Sailing Club, Weston beach and Branscombe Mouth. There will be drink stations at these points and a back marker runner. Full detailed maps available on club web site.

Transport this is optional £8.50 and will be provided from the Finish at Seaton to the Start at Exmouth but only before the race – leaving Seaton at 8:15am arriving at Exmouth by 9.15am. The coach is available on condition that a place is booked in advance. Please book a place on the entry form if this is required so that we can cater for numbers.

Entry on the day  entries on the day ( if max entry not exceeded ) will only be taken at the start and we cannot supply transport after the race. Extra £5 fee applies to save time print form on club web site complete and hand in to Race Headquarters. No TEAM ENTRIES on the day.

Hand Baggage  runners baggage or kit can be transported from the start to the finish if required a label must be attatched to runners bag identifying runners race number. Race numbers and timer chips will be issued before the start of the race. Hand baggage for the half race starting at Sidmouth will also be available.

Individual Entries: on-line.  Race numbers to be collected at the start.

Postal entries last - No postal applications

Age Restriction No runners under the age of 18.

Time Limit: 6 hours. Cut-off times: Budleigh Salterton 10:55am, Sidmouth: 12:30pm, Branscombe 2:30pm. Runners over these times will be withdrawn from the Race.

Early Start There will be an earlier start at 8:45am for runners who would like to take part but who would find these cut-offs challenging. Please contact email events@sidmouthrunningclub.co.uk to register for the earlier start. Their is not a coach transport option for the early start.

Chip Timing Chip’s are to be tie wrapped to runners running shoes, Relay runners will need to cut them timing chips off and attatched them to relay team member and also change running number. At the end of the race timingchips are to be removed and returned to organisers so that they can be used again.

Race Medal for all finishers.

Further Information will be sent prior to the race via email to all entrants.

This is a tough race please only enter if you capable up running this distance and able to run the incline stated. Runners take full responsibility for their welfare, preparedness and medically self authorise themselves to run, if in doubt please check with your GP. Guidance for runners is available via www.runnersmedicalresource.com All runners to complete the medical details on the rear of the race number. Sorry Dogs are not permitted to accompany runners during the race.

This is an Association of Running Clubs (ARC) registered race. 
The South West Coastal Path are race partners.
