A 66 mile road sportif set in the quiet back roads of Northumberland. The route flows around the popular cycling Areas in the heart of Northumberland such as Elsdon, Rothbury, Thropton and Netherton. There are numerous testing climbs to get your heart going and if the weather plays the game there are superb views thrown in also. Some cracking feed station food as well!
The ride starts and finished at the Rose & Thistle pub in Alwinton, Northumberland so you get a chance to grab a coffee before hand or some quality rehydration afterwards. There is free camping available the night before on a field just behind the pub. Why not come and have a great day out on the lonely back roads of Northumberland?
