JP’s Exe to Axe £21 including booking fee race starts at the Foxes Hole Car Park on the Exmouth Sea Front and follows the South West Coast Path for close to 22 miles and finishes at the far end of the Esplanade at Seaton. The race is for individuals and relay teams, dogs are not permitted. Maps and course available on club web site

Check points & Water stations There are three handover/checkpoints at Budleigh Salterton, Sidmouth Sailing Club and Branscombe Mouth. There will be drink stations at these points and a back marker but no course marshals. Full detailed maps available on club web site.

Transport this is optional £8.50 and will be provided from the Finish to the Start but only before the race – leaving Seaton at 8:30am arriving at Exmouth by 9.30am. The coach is available on condition that a place is booked in advance. Please book a place on the entry form if this is required so that we can cater for numbers.

Entry on the day  entries on the day ( if max entry not exceeded ) will only be taken at the start and we cannot supply transport after the race. Extra £5 fee applies to save time print form on club web site complete and hand in to Race Headquarters. No TEAM ENTRIES on the day. Hand baggage or kit can be transported from the start to the finish if required.

Individual Entries: Postal or on-line.  Race numbers to be collected at the start.

Team Entries: Postal only see Race numbers for relay team only will be sent by post.

Age Restriction No runners under the age of 18.

Time Limit: 6 hours. Cut-off times: Budleigh Salterton 11:10am, Sidmouth: 12:45pm, Branscombe 2:45pm. Runners over these times will be withdrawn from the Race.

Early Start There will be an earlier start at 9am for runners who would like to take part but who would find these cut-offs challenging. Please contact email to register for the earlier start.

Race Medal & Momentoes for all finishers. Further information will be sent via email to all entries.

This is a tough race please only enter if you capable up running this distance and able to run the incline stated. Runners take full responsibility for their welfare, preparedness and medically self authorise themselves to run, if in doubt please check with your GP. Guidance for runners is available via All runners to complete the medical details on the rear of the race number. See map on for details of the race along the SW Coastal Path.

Sorry Dogs are not permitted to accompany runners during the race.

This is a Fell Running Association (FRA) registered race. Competitors entering this race are agreeing that they accept the FRA conditions. Questions on the application are a FRA requirement.
