We return to the popular Littlemill forest, which might be small but hides dramatic features that tell of a landscape very different from today's peaceful glen. The ridges and lochans are leftovers from the Ice Age, formed when glaciers ground their way across the land.

Following the event, all current and past INVOC members and our friends in other clubs are invited to celebrate its 40th Anniversary in Farr Village Hall with a chance to celebrate, reminisce and ceilidh dance and share a birthday cake. Wood fired mobile pizza company and soups booked and available to buy with plenty of salads to share.

Please look out any photos and memorabilia from the last 40 years and bring it or contact Veronica at enquiries@invocmail.org.uk

Music will be provided by our talented orienteers and musicians Iain Hope & friends accompanied by Jenny and Freya

As for dress code, please bring your old gear or a funny beanie hat, as there will be a prize for the runner with the best hat.

Food and music will be available from 11:30 and the celebration will start at 13:15 with a speech from one of INVOC’s founder members, Ken Naismith.

Hope you can come along.
