Join us for a fun Street O event based at the popular Oxford Pub, Healey, combining quiet residential streets, scenic trails, and opportunities to explore parts of the area you may never have visited before. The objective is simple: score as many points as possible by visiting checkpoints within the time limit.
All checkpoints are located on easily accessible features, with nothing hidden or difficult to find. Each checkpoint is marked on your map and carries a different points value. Visit a checkpoint, find the code or answer, record it on your answer sheet, and collect the points. The challenge is deciding your own route and managing your
time to maximise your score before the clock runs out.
With a mix of streets, paths, and trails, this event offers plenty of route choice and rewards careful planning. Take part on your own or with friends and family. You can run, jog, or walk your way around the course, enjoying some exercise while putting your navigation and decision-making skills to the test in a treasure hunt-style challenge.
Newcomers are very welcome, and no previous orienteering experience is required. Full instructions will be provided before the start.
