Start window: 5pm to 7:30pm Adult 18+ or        Solo Junior 16+ See available discounts below £5 earlybird until Mon 5 Oct £8 standard until Thu 15 Oct £10 late until Sun 18 Oct £12 on the day Mon 19 Oct Accompanied Junior age 0-17 FREE but must go with a paying parent or guardian over 21 Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a group of 3 or more.  Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT accompanied youngsters under 18 who go for FREE (when accompanied by a paying adult who must be 21+). Juniors aged 16 and above can run/walk alone with parental permission - in this case they need their own individual entry with discretionary discount codes available as below: Individual entrants aged 16-21 are invited to use the discretionary discount code SpunchZoom50.  This will provide a 50% discount on the applicable entry fee.  Intended for students in full time education or on very low or zero income.  Entrants aged 22-25 are invited to use the young adult discount code Spunch25.  This will provide a 25% discount on the applicable entry fee intended for young adults just starting out in life with low resources. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.  Please enter early for the best rates and to help with planning for maps, parking, event officials and catering.

Spunch!  Is a big sporty treasure hunt with a difference - A fun, friendly & safe mini-adventure with a unique & colourful map.  Suitable for all ages & abilities - no previous experience required.  Locals and newcomers always welcome.  

Run or walk.  2k to 22k, the choice is yours!   60, 90 and 120 min course duration options (you can choose on the day itself).   

The event is open to all and we hope to get some newcomers from the Albrighton area.

Visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, Satellite punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.  With over 60 SpunchPoints to go for - how many will you bag?  

For runners, walkers, friends & families.  Go solo, pair or in a group of 3 or more.  Lots of help available for newbies.  Dogs are welcome too, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times. 

On-site Registration opens at 5pm and you can start anytime from 5pm to 7:30pm.  (Last start for 90 min course 7:15pm.  Last start for 120 min course 6:45pm).  One of our autumn sunset series - early starters will get the benefit of at least some daylight.  Sunset about 6:10pm, dark from about 6:40pm. Hi-vis & torch required if you intend to be out after sunset.

Final details and the MapRun courses are usually published to all entrants on the day before the event giving you time to make a route plan!

Where?

The Crown, Albrighton, Nr Wolverhampton WV7 3JA.

A first Spunch visit to The Crown & the adjacent area.  The venue will provide a warm welcome with a wide selection of drinks and food available (details to be confirmed).  The pub is child & dog friendly.

Parking, Registration, Help, Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Results, Food & Drink all at or near the venue. 

Getting there by car:  About 5 mins from J3 of the M54.

Arriving by public transport:  A good one to come to by train. The station is about 600m away.

The Area & Course

A mixture of underfoot conditions from tarmac to off-road trails*. There will be something for everyone and even locals are likely to discover new paths and places!  

Hope you will come along and give it a go.  *total absence of mud cannot be guaranteed!
