The Hardmoors 160

The Hardmoors 160 ‘The Ring Of Steele’ Ultramarathon will start at Scalby and head west along the Tabular Hills route to Helmsley. Leaving Helmsley the route will follow the full length of the Cleveland Way National Trail (Hardmoors 110 route) to the race finish at Filey.

The Hardmoors 160 as the name suggests will be a 160 mile single stage Ultra with over 6700 metres of ascent. Competitors will have 50hrs to complete the race.

The Hardmoors 160 will be held on Friday 21st May (1800) until Sunday 23rd May 2027

All competitors must have completed a single stage race/challenge event of a minimum of 60 trail miles to be able to enter the Hardmoors 160. Information provided will be checked up on.

Race Limit: 60 competitors

ALL COMPETITORS MUST BE SUPPORTED* (NO UNSUPPORTED RUNNERS)

* Supported = A minimum of 1 driver plus vehicle to provide car support throughout the full duration of the race. Runners are allowed to share support. (Realistically a support team should be a minimum of 2 or more)

Registration for the Hardmoors 160 will open from 1500hrs until 1630hrs Friday 21st May at Scalby Mills

Trackers

All Hardmoors 160 competitors will receive a Tracker (included in the Race Entry fee)
Trackers will give out competitors' locations at any time online. This is a huge bonus for safety reasons and handy for race crews to detect where their runners are on the route and when to 'brew up' ready for their arrival.
