Campervans

The land owner for Saturday's middle has kindly said campervans are welcome to stay in his field for the Friday / Saturday night. £10 per vehicle per night. Please contact the event organiser if you would like to take up this offer. 

SOUL

Usual SOUL range of courses, in the Scorguie area of Inverness. This is a relatively modern housing area, newly mapped, on a hillside above the Caledonian Canal and Beauly Firth. Assembly / event centre at Charleston Academy Community Complex.

Final details tbc.

Start times in the morning, allowing competitors to run at Carse of Ardersier in the afternoon.

 

Carse of Ardersier Middle

"Elite" style middle courses planned by Masterplan Adventure.

Courses: Open (5.5km, 50m), Women (4.5km, 50m), Short (~3k)

Start Times: Late Afternoon, Start Times approx 2pm - 4pm. TBC

Terrain is typical Moray dunes, but with areas of decreased visibility and runability. Map refreshed for this event by Joe Hudd (and others, TBC).

Parking: TBC, please car-share where possible to reduce environmental footprint

Ceilidh 

Dance away the rest of your weekend energy at a family ceilidh on the bank of the River Ness. It will be on Saturday evening, 5th September at St Mary's Hall, 28 Huntly Street, Inverness, IV3 5PR.

 Start time tbc.

 Music by the Dandy Ceilidh band. You don't need to be an experienced country dancer, with all more than welcome with calling / instruction provided. BYOB!

Courses: Colour coded courses, with men and women's World Ranking races.

TD1-3: In the rough pasture area next to the river, with paths, fences and rough ground.

TD4-5: Natural Caledonian pine forest, steep contour details, and expansive open hilltops on the longer courses.
