Testway Ultra

Offering everything Hampshire has to offer from the chalky downs of the North to the picturesque villages of the South. From the Northern Hampshire/Berkshire border to the southern town of Totton in Southampton.

Distance.
50 mile Ultra Marathon. Technical, fast in places, and constantly changing.

40 mile Ultra Marathon. The slightly shorter option.

What won’t change is the approach - clear marking, honest terrain, and a course following the Test Way.

Times:

Car park opens at 0630hrs.
Race Briefing at 0745hrs.
Race start at 0800hrs.

40 mile
Car park opens at 0630hrs.
Race briefing at 0815hrs.
Race start at 0830.

We have a 14 hour cutoff for this event. 

Route.
The route is a very established footpath running the length of Hampshire. (The Test Way)

The route will be fully signed by the team the day before the event. The last section of the route is marked using high viz signage for those still going as the sun goes down.

• Our amazing well stocked aid stations every 10 miles with everything you need to help you refuel. A mixture of sweet and savory snacks, water, juice and coke on offer for you.
• Friendly marshals on road crossings on major roads.
• Very experienced medical and safety team on route to help you if needed.
• Fully marked route.
• Finisher medals for those who complete the event with winner prizes for first, second and third male and female.
• This is a fantastic event in it’s 10th year growing in popularity all the time.

Transport options.
There is a coach option for this race for an additional £10. Please select this option when signing up. This is a shuttle bus service from the finish line in Totton back to your vehicle in Linkenholt.

There will be NO deferrals after 4 weeks from the event.

Frequently asked Questions

• Can I run with my dog?

We welcome dogs on routes up and including a marathon distance. Please be conscious of the weather.  All dogs must be kept on a lead.

• Where do I collect my bib/running number?

Unless told otherwise, all bibs/run numbers shall be collected on the day of the race at registration.

• What mandatory kit do I need?

All mandatory kit lists will be emailed to all participants two weeks before an event.
