The 54th edition of the LDWA’s annual 100 mile challenge event will take place in East Devon over the late May bank holiday weekend in 2027. Hosted by the Cornwall and Devon Group, the Jurassic Hundred will start and finish in the historic town of Axminster, and showcase the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and the East Devon National Landscape (formerly Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).
The route will initially head east into Dorset to join the coast at the beautiful town of Lyme Regis, and then mainly follow the glorious rollercoaster of the South West Coast Path to Exmouth, turning north alongside the Exe Estuary before striking inland. It will then follow the route of the East Devon Way, crossing hilltop heathland and river valleys back to the Axe Valley. Expect steep climbs, big views (weather permitting!) and a warm welcome.
