The 2nd Holy Trail Running Festival - 50mile, 50km and Trail Marathon
Boghopper Races are thrilled to the second edition of the Holy Trail Running Festival featuring beautiful trails and coast across Suffolk. There are a choice of THREE distances; a 50 KM and 50 Mile and Trail Marathon. Limited to 150 participants across all three race.
All races finish at Nicholas Everitt Park, Oulton Broad. Each race has its own cut-off's and time limits:
- 50 mile is a circular route, starting at Nicholas Everitt Park, with a 15 hour time limit. Start 0730
- 50 km starts at Holton Village Hall. Start 0830. 10 hour time limit.
- Trail Marathon from Walberswick Village Hall. Start 0930. 8 hour time limit.
(NB: these are not UKA certified courses and so distances are approximate).
Min age for the 50 mile and 50 km ultras are 20 years old. Marathon is 18 years old.
Your race entry fee includes:
- A unique medal
- Food & drink at the checkpoints
- GPS Tracking/Timing for the race
- First aid services
- A light meal and hot drinks at the finish
- Prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishers in both Female and Male/Open categories
There is also an opportunity to purchase a t-shirt when you enter.
50 Mile - Easy transport links with railway stations a short walk from the start and finish for (Oulton Broad Stations).
50Km - Railway Station at Halesworth for the start and Oulton Broad for the finish
Unfortunately, Walberswick is only served by train to Lowestoft and then bus/taxi; or car direct.
Please note that there are NO DEFERRALS and refunds only in line with the following policy:
- Up to 12 weeks before the event – 50% refund*
- Up to 8 weeks before the event – 25% refund*
- Less than 8 weeks before the event – no refund*
*The processing fee charged by SiEntries is non-refundable in all circumstances.
Refunds for bus transport, clothing items ordered through the entry system cannot be provided once these have been booked and/or ordered. This is four weeks before the event.
