Midhurst Milers in conjunction with Fernhurst Recreation Ground Trust presents The Blackdown Hill Challenge
A 10km race from Fernhurst Recreation Ground with 856ft +/- of elevation gain summiting at Temple of the Winds, Blackdown. In addition to the challenging climb and descent, the route also provides outstanding views across Sussex, Surry and Hampshire.
We will also offer a less challenging 4.5km trail race for adults alongside our junior fell races through the foot hills of Blackdown. 5km with 151 ascent and 2km distances available. Or represent your school in the school team competition.
The event is licenced by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules.

Travel information:
- By car: Fernhurst is 3 miles south of Haslemere on the A286, and 5 miles north of Midhurst.
- The Recreation Ground is adjacent to the Red Lion pub and village green.

Book early to avoid disappointment. All entries must be made online – no entries will be available on the day. All runners must be at least 16 years old to take part in the adult race. Not open to Canicross, no dogs on the course - sorry.
