Glamaig has been described as “one of the toughest races in Scottish hill-running” and although it is classed a short Category A race we always insist that all competitors must wear or carry windproof body cover.
Given Skye’s variable weather conditions competitors are also advised to have waterproof full body cover available too as in adverse weather conditions we will insist that this is worn or carried instead.
The hotel always makes this a fantastic race with a number of events running alongside the race, why not make a day of it and come along for the day, procedes from the events and the race are donated to Skye Mountain Rescue Team
