The usually closed private clay road between Par and Fowey will be open for a 10k return run from Fowey to Par on Friday 3rd April 2026 (Good Friday).
This road goes through the Pinnock tunnel, which is just over 1km long and the longest tunnel in Cornwall.
It is a flat, fast, traffic free road and all runners aged 7 and over are welcome (but those ages 7-15 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is also taking part)
Sorry no dogs or bikes. Running buggies and pushchairs are welcome.
Registration will begin at 8am, with the 10k run aiming to start at 10:30am, with a pre-race briefing 10mins before the race start.
Spectators are welcome at the Fowey start/finish (race is a loop).
All finishers will be presented with a commemorative memento.
Toilets and refreshments will be available at the start/finish point and there will be a water station at the 5km point.
Proceeds of the run will go to the Fowey Gig Club.
There is parking at the Fowey Caffa Mill and Station Yard car parks adjacent to the start, or at the main Fowey car park which is a 10-15 minute walk away.
