Cocking Trail 3k & 5k Junior Races

Midhurst Milers warmly welcome you to the Cocking Trail Races, which cross through the picturesque hills and trails of the South Downs.
Junior races
There are two distances for the junior trail races: with prize categories
3km trail race for primary school ages 6-8 and 9-11.
5km trail race for secondary school ages 11-15 .
Both Junior 3k and 5k races start at 09.20. The start line is 1km west of the race HQ/finish line on the South Downs Way. Please be ready to walk to the start from Race HQ at 08.55. The marshalled 3km and 5km trail routes head uphill for a short while before heading down to the finish line where the 10k runners will be gathering for their start. Expect lots of cheers from the adults as the juniors cross the line!

- 07:45 Car park opens
- 07:45 Registration OPENS for Junior, 20k and 10k races
- 08:45 Registration CLOSES for 20k & Junior races
- 08:55 Juniors walk to start line (1km)
- 08:55 20k race briefing
- 09:00 20k trail race starts
- 09:15 Juniors race briefing
- 09:20 Junior trail race starts
- 10:00 Registration CLOSES for 10k race
- 10:10 10k race briefing
- 10:15 10k trail race starts
- 11:30 Prizes and presentations
