Come and join us for a fantastic day of Canicross at Pennington Flash Country Park, one of the area’s most scenic and popular green spaces. This event is designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for runners of all abilities and their canine partners.
The route winds through open parkland, lakeside paths, and well-maintained trails. It is mostly flat with a few inclines, making it an ideal introduction for beginners while still offering an enjoyable challenge for more experienced teams.
Our event is about community as much as competition. Expect a friendly, welcoming atmosphere where everyone is encouraged—whether you’re jogging, running, or pushing for a personal best. Safety and dog welfare are our top priorities, and there will be plenty of opportunities for water, rest, and support along the way.
Event Details:
Start Time: 8:30am
Distances: Long ( 4-5km) Short (1.5-2km)
Facilities: On-site parking available, café for refreshments, and toilets close to the start/finish area
Course Support: Clearly marked routes with marshals positioned throughout to keep you safe and motivated
2 dog teams (max) welcome but no separate prize categories are on offer
