Hell on the Fell

Longridge Fell is unlike many others in that it has many public roads on which we can cycle, many of us have ridden a climb on a ride going over the Fell, maybe even another on the return. But to do them all in one day, now that’s a bit of a challenge.

The route is simple, starting from the Civic Hall we progress around the Fell clockwise taking the first climb on the right then back into Longridge and follow the road to take the second climb on the right. Etc.

There will be a feed station with toilet facilities at the Golf Club that gets passed 4 times, so you can stop there whenever you like. The finish will be back at the Civic Hall where there is plenty of parking and toilet facilities, the views on the route are spectacular and some of the climbs, although not brutal are challenging.

We don’t intend to signpost the route as most riders have cycle computers.

The ride will set off from 8.00 with registration from 7.15.

The cost is £25 with all proceeds going to the Rotary club and distributed to local good causes.
