The Looe 10 Miler is an open event and is also part of the Cornish Grand Prix series. In 2027 we are once again raising money for the Cornwall Air Ambulance.
All finishers will receive a commemorative Looe 10 Miler medal.
The Route:
An undulating run through West Looe and out onto the coastal road to Talland. A loop around the Killigarth and Porthallow area brings you back down to Talland for the return leg to the finish.
We regret that the course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Dogs, pushchairs and walking entries are not permitted.
The race starts and finishes in the Millpool Car Park next to race HQ. There will be three water stations on the route at approximately miles 3, 6 and 9.
Runners must obey marshal instructions and take responsibility for their own safety while running the course, particularly on sections of public highway. Marshals do not have the authority to stop traffic.
There is a generous 2 hour 45 minute time limit.
Please note that runners must not use earphones, headphones or earbuds, including bone-conduction headphones, during the race. Failure to comply may result in disqualification and your time may not be recorded.
Registration:
Race HQ will be downstairs in The Millpool Centre and registration will be open from 09:00 to 10:30.
Pre-entered runners must collect their race numbers on the morning of the race. On-the-day entries may be available, subject to capacity and any outstanding waiting-list places.
The postcode for the Millpool Centre is PL13 2AF. As you enter Looe, please follow the race signage for the Millpool Car Park.
The Looe 10 Miler will start at 11:00. The Mini Miler children's race will take place beforehand at 10:00. Entry details for the Mini Miler are available on its dedicated entry page.
Parking:
There is ample ‘Pay & Display’ parking available in the Millpool Car Park. This is a Cornwall Council car park and Council parking charges apply.
We encourage car sharing and the use of public transport where possible.
Refreshments:
Hot and cold drinks and food will be available to purchase for runners and spectators from The Brew Box and Coasters, Looe, who will have mobile stands at the event.
Transfers and Deferrals:
If you are unable to take part due to injury, you may defer your entry through your SiEntries account. Alternatively, you may transfer your entry to another runner through SiEntries.
Transfers and deferrals must be completed by 23:59 on Friday 26 February 2027. No transfers or deferrals will be accepted after this deadline.
A successful deferral will provide a credit, less the SiEntries booking fee, towards the Looe 10 Miler 2028. The credit applies to the race entry fee only and does not include optional merchandise or other add-ons.
Please note that a successful deferral does not guarantee a place in the 2028 event. Entrants should use their credit and enter the 2028 race before it reaches capacity.
