* Indoor Orienteering – 3D Navigation
Indoor orienteering represents an innovative and demanding discipline within the orienteering sport. In contrast to conventional outdoor formats, this event is conducted within multi-story buildings such as schools, shopping malls, or office complexes, creatively transforming these environments into intricate three-dimensional mazes.

The complexity of indoor orienteering stems from the necessity to rapidly and accurately establish one’s position and orientation while also efficiently selecting optimal routes between floors. Participants must sustain a high level of focus and demonstrate advanced map-reading abilities to locate control points in a dynamic and multifaceted indoor setting.

This format rigorously assesses both physical endurance and strategic thinking, thereby enhancing athletes' comprehensive skillsets while offering an engaging and stimulating experience for spectators. Indoor orienteering significantly broadens the competitive landscape for sporting enthusiasts and encourages wider participation in this unique and rewarding challenge.
