Welcome to the fifth edition of the 5 mile trail run raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity.
The June date will take advantage of the later sunset time to accommodate a larger field of runners.
Starting and finishing in Epperstone, join your running friends on 5 undulating miles of Nottinghamshire trails. Don't think this is a walk in the park or the countryside. Within the first mile you'll climb a 'mini' hill - something to test the lungs!
For all HP runners - this event counts towards the points tally in the Road League.
We have the usual fantastic prizes up for grabs - again we are not having the standard age group prizes, instead opting for some randomly placed prizes. So if you finish in a position that corresponds to the list, you will receive a prize. Prizes include:
- First male and female - Up & Running vouchers
- Course records, both male (mm:ss) and female (mm:ss)
- A crate of beer for the club that attends the event with the most entrants (please ensure you add your running club/group when entering the event - you can update your entry before event day).
- Running goodies
2026 sees the event back at The Cross Keys pub. We do no not have the permission to bring dogs onto the event this year.
Entry numbers have been lifted to 375 runners. I hope the event can again raise further valuable funds for The Brain Tumour Charity following the first four years of success.
