To enter you must first Log In or Register your Details with SiEntries.
Entries:
Pre-entries are strongly preferred, with only limited entry on the day so long as we have maps. On-line entries will remain open until very close to the event. Pre-entering ensures you have a map and greatly simplifies things on the day, which on a potentially cold night in November can be no bad thing. Entry fees are £7 for adults (£98 for non-BOF members), £3 for juniors (under 21) and students. These rates apply up to 1st December, after which they go up by £2 adults and £1 juniors. The same, higher, rates will apply for any entries on the day.
If you are a newcomer to the sport and do not have a an orienteering dibber (to record visiting the controls, also called an SI-Card) then please indicate that you need to borrow an SI-Card.
Courses:
The usual range of NWNL courses i.e. Orange (2.4km, tbc climb, 11 controls), Green (3.9km 1tbc climb, 16 controls) and Blue (5.0 km tbc climb, 23 controls).
Controls (including the finish) are in beacon mode so they can be punched contactlessly if you have a SIAC. This does not apply to the dibbers available for hire.
Terrain:
Map A4 scale 1:7500. Minor updates 2025.
Don't expect a typical urban park. The area consists mainly of a steep sided wooded valley, with several paths whch may be muddy and slippery.

Starts between 17.30 and 18.30. Courses close 20.30. If you expect to need more than an hour and a half please start close to 17.30.
The Start is tbc m from the parking area. Only go to the start just prior to starting.
