A classic Pennine fell race taking in all sorts of terrain from a touch of mud to hitting some of the hard stuff on Midgley Road.
The course is fully flagged and SI timing cards will be used to track runners and support the results.
BS – 6 miles (9.7km )/1640ft (500m)

The race is licensed by the FRA under UKA rules.
FRA mandatory minimum kit is compulsory including waterproof full body cover (with taped seams & integrated attached hood), hat (not a buff), gloves, appropriate map, compass, whistle and emergency food.
There is a mandatory kit check prior to race number allocation on the day.
