The North Star Ultra is continuing Cold Brew Events reputation for high quality and testing ultra marathons.
For this race you have 5 legs which go out to the various points of a star: North, East, South East, South West and West. You can do the latter four legs in any order you wish but you must do the North leg last. The details for each leg are on the website. Some are shorter, some have punchy climbs, some stretch out further, some are exposed. Your job is to figure out which order to do them in to give you the best chance of completing this epic challenge. Whether you are solo, pair or quad you've all got 170 miles of trail to get through. Each leg is out and back with a dedicated indoor location and team to look after you at the turnaround point. Except the North leg, where you're outdoors all the time. You'll be tracked all the way with teams on standby to come and assist should you have any issues. All legs begin from Kielder Castle.
Make no mistake, this will be a tough ultra and one to really test your physical and psychological limits.
Are you ready for the North Star Ultra?
You start 8am on the Saturday and need to be back at base by 8pm on the Sunday. For rankings, furthest distance counts.
