If you DO NOT have an entry PLEASE DO NOT ENTER, otherwise your entry will be cancelled, your entry fee will be returned to you less an admin fee of £5 and a chance of a future entry in the Lakeland 100/50 will be compromised.

The recce days always prove extremely popular and will be repeated to allow you to familiarise yourself with the course and meet your friends and fellow runners! Each recce day costs £30 to register and this includes the coach transport, medical support and 'basic' refreshments at checkpoints. Full details will be sent out 1 week prior to each of the dates.
Sun 23rd November 2025 – Recce 1 - Coniston - Buttermere
Sat 17th January 2026 – Recce 2, the evening recce - Ambleside - Coniston
Sun 22nd March 2026 – Recce 3 - Buttermere - Dalemain
Sun 14th June 2026 – Recce 4 - Pooley Bridge to Ambleside

RECCE 3 - BUTTERMERE TO DALEMAIN
This is part of the 100 course only (not the 50 course) and is 33 miles in total from Buttermere to Dalemain, via Braithwaite, Blencathra & Dockray. Full kit is required as per event website and there are cut off times in place at the checkpoints so you must ensure you are fit enough to make these cut offs prior to starting the recce.
