Welcome to the 7 Cities Wales, a multi-day, self supported, bike packing adventure traversing the breathtaking landscapes of Wales and passing through each of the 7 cities of Wales. This route is aimed at mountain bikes or drop bar mountain bikes with 29x2.35 or wider tyres. This route is for experienced bike packers and ultra cyclists.
Event Details:
- Date: Friday, July 31st to Sunday, August 09th, 2026
- Location: Departure from Tiny Rebel Brewery Bar, Rogerstone
- Start Time: Registration opens on Friday 31st July 2026 at 08:30 am; riders depart by 09:30am
- Duration: Ten days, concluding officially at 20:00 pm on Sunday, 09th August, 2026
- Distance: 745 miles of mixed terrain, including roads, cycleways, open moorland, forestry double track, and single track
- Highlights: The route takes participants through the Preseli Hills, Snowdonia, Clydian Range and Black Mountains
