The first year event was a sell out, so Don't Delay. This will be the 2nd running of  Wheelbirks 10km Trail Race which starts  and finishes from the ice cream parlour, giving you plenty of opportunity to get yourself  an Ice Cream before and after you race.

On a mixture of farm field boundaries, forest and woodland trails and some steep technical climbs and descents, this course is a great mixture of terrain, with the added fun of river crossings.

Registration will be in the farm courtyard, very close to the start line and Ice Cream Parlour where you can grab a coffee/ice cream.

The route will be fully waymarked, and is ideal for trail novices and experienced runners alike, but we still recommend that you take a look at the map or better still add the gpx to your watch.

Start Time: 7pm

Registration: 5pm-6.30pm

Venue: Wheelbirks Parlour, Stocksfield, Northumberland

Terrain conditions: a mixture of farmland, trails and dirt tracks.

Parking/Race HQ:

  • There will be a race HQ with toilets.
  • There will be medical support throughout the event.
  • Water/flap jacks and gels
  • The cafe and Ice cream parlour will be open throughout the event.

We are an eco-friendly company and, on that basis, we don’t use disposable plastic cups. What we do guarantee is a first class race experience where you can make memories to last a lifetime! We are actively encouraging participants to give something back to the environment which is why your race goodies are a little bit different. We are including a packet of mixed wild flower seeds for you to plant which will encourage bees and other pollinators to visit your garden which is great for the environment.

You can access our car sharing group on Facebook, where you can arrange car sharing opportunities with other race day participants. Great for the environment and great for your pocket.... ! Car Share group
