Lakeland Paws Whinlatter Tails Night Run

This is a first for us and we have decided to add a night run into our series 4. We are using our south side, undulating route at Whinlatter Forest, which is the same as our January event, however this time it will be run in the dark. We will be starting the event at 6pm and every participant will need a head torch. We will have individual starts for each athlete so that all dogs have the space they need to start safely. Our course is a mix of forest roads and trails. This route is one of our less technical routes and so two dogs are allowed. Runners are welcome to compete without dogs too.
There are two course options. The longer option is a 10k route with 380m of ascent. There is a shorter option, which splits from the longer route and is 5K and has 200m of ascent. This is recommended for beginners or those seeking an easier route.
The event is chip timed and will be marked. GPX files are available to download too.
