A race with a difference! What is a handicap race, you ask?
The goal of a handicap race is to level the playing field for runners of different abilities, so that everyone has an equal chance of winning. In practice, the slowest runner starts first with the fastest starting last. You will need to submit a recent race or parkrun time when you enter.
A picturesque 5km handicap trail run out and back from Firle. The undulating out and back route along The Old Coach Road track offers some superb views of the South Downs. Distance 5 kms 90% trail (hard track); 10% quiet country lane and unmade road.
Prizes for first, second and third
Toilets, changing and parking all at the village hall, Firle.
Fully marked and marshalled course with tea and cake in the hall for after!

Race start 9.30am
Race entry limit is 50 people only

Please note as this is a trail race, the race distance is approximate. Running with dogs is prohibited.
