Aonach Mor Uphill Race 2026 (New Year)

Venue: Nevis Range Ski Centre, Torlundy, Fort William
Registration: 9:00 to 10:30 (Registration will close sharp).
Start Time: Race briefing at 10:50 for 11:00 race start.
Category: Over 18. (Full Body Cover Must Be Carried or Worn),or NO run.
Distance: 4 km
Climb: 610 m

Additional info: Racers can send a bag of warm layers up the gondola for the finish and prize giving, please drop these at the gondola station at the time of registration. After the race you can either catch the gondola down (free) or some runners may chose to run down!
NB: In the event off adverse weather conditions and the Gondola is NOT running, the race shall continue on alternative route which is from start line at bottom station up to Tower 13 and return to the start line and the presentation food etc shall be in the Pinemartin Café at the bottom station. Otherwise the race shall be to the top station from the start line! And presentation would be in top station.
Fort William Park Run: Fort William Parkrun will also be held on New Years day, starting at the usual time of 09:30 from the Nevis Range. It is very possible to do both runs for the extra keen or it can allow parents to take turns with childcare at each run. Details on parkrun here. If you are planning to do both races, please arrive with enough time to register for Aonach Mor Uphill race BEFORE starting the park run.
